Hello Sunrise Point Patriot Families!

    I am so excited to be representing our SPE PTO as President for the 2023-2024 school year! Our PTO works incredibly hard to provide support for our families, teachers, staff and students.  We raise funds throughout the year to give back to our wonderful school, teachers and staff, and students. This last year we raised a record-breaking amount for SPE and we were able to renovate the teacher's lounge for our amazing teachers and provide funding for school-wide technology, teacher grants, teacher reimbursements, assemblies, author visits, and much much more! 

   These amazing acts are not possible without your support and volunteering!  This year we want to try and beat last year's fundraising totals and we will need EVERYONE to help us reach this goal!  We gladly welcome any and all volunteers and there are so many ways you can volunteer to help!  We have volunteer sign-ups available on this website for 1 hour slots, item donations for class parties, committee members for various events, and room parents.  

   Our mission as your PTO is to help all SPE families feel a part of our community within the school.  We want our parents to be able to feel connected to their children's daily lives at SPE and be involved in all that SPE has to offer!  We plan to keep parents informed of all events and happenings that are occurring throughout the school year so that they don't miss a thing! 

    Personally, I have 3 children and 2 are still at SPE this year.  This past year, my oldest graduated 5th grade from SPE and is headed to middle school at PSMS.  I am a member of PTO because I want to be able to give back to a school and a community that has given so much to my family.  My children are loved and supported at SPE and they are flourishing academically and socially and I know that is in large part to the teachers and staff that embrace them each day that they walk through the doors of their school.  The wonderful experiences that my children have had and the connections that they have made are my reason for volunteering and doing all I can to give back to SPE.  Volunteering is an act of love and that is what I feel for this institution and its incredible teachers and staff.  I hope each one of you find your reason to volunteer at SPE as well.
